Film Industry Network receives over 1000 short film entries

Film Industry Network has received more than 1000 short films for its first global contest to find the best independent filmmakers.

Film directors from 60 countries have sent in their shorts to get the chance at having their films featured on Film Industry Network and promoted to people in the entertainment business.

Professional short filmmakers as well as students from The Vancouver Film School (Canada), The University of Brighton (UK), and NYU (US) have submitted animation films as well as music videos and short dramas.

The contest is free to enter for filmmakers and selected entrants will be highlighted throughout 2015 and featured on the network.

With some of the world's biggest contests featured regularly on Film Industry Network, filmmakers are challenged throughout the year to practice their skills for the chance of winning prizes, exposure and mentoring.

The Film Industry Network short film contest is still open for entries and directors will be contacted should their films be selected for features.

To send in your short film of no more than 10 minutes in length, check out the short film contest page for more details.
