Audrina Patridge signs on to host for Yobi TV

DETROIT, USA - Yobi.tv, a new internet talent contest network is fast becoming a central place for people to get discovered. With sensational competitions from cash prizes to tickets for major events such as the Grammys, there is good reason to participate.

Recently Yobi.tv signed Audrina Patridge, star of MTV s The Hills as their host who will present weekly shows.

Film Industry Network gives you an insight behind Yobi.tv with founder Dianne Victor.

YOBI.tv was launched because of the desire to make the world a better place, period. We support the Millennium Development Goals and the end of poverty. My husband, daughter, and I launched a non-profit organization in 2006, One Village One World (OVOW), designed to support these goals. We have launched the support of a small Masaai village in Kenya with a project that empowers women by purchasing their beautiful handmade jewelry.

But the desire to be able offer this support on a much larger scale lead me to create a business plan for a website with a huge idea and exciting concept so that it would donate a percent of revenue to OVOW. A yobibyte is the largest binary prefix assignable to bits/bytes of information therefore YOBI.tv is meant to be the largest gathering place in the world for creative talents.

The first contest channels for singing, filmmaking, comedy, and photography, were obvious choices as readily available content. We intend to continue to add channels for every type of talent.

Matt Giraud (Yobi TV Host)

YOBI World channel is the place for creative talents living in poverty regions. It is free and 100% of the proceeds go back to the villages. This is a place where creative talents can support the creative talents in need by purchasing their artistic products.

What is unique about your reality network?

Everything! There is no other internet Talent Contest Network out there. The channels are hosted by celebrities and the users control the outcome.

How did you manage to bring together so many partners and great competitions for young talent?

Danielle Ryan (Yobi TV host)

Just like anyone in this industry, every day brings a new potential avenue or partner. It is a non-stop learning adventure that we continue to fine-tune as we go.

Have you been inspired by anyone that has helped you achieve success?

There are so many wonderful people who go out of their way to make the world a better place. Many of these people are also creative talents. I think they are probably most inspiring. People like John Lennon and Bono. As for the internet, I would have to say that Jeff Bezos is my hero, followed by Steve Jobs!

Do you have any exciting plans for the future?

Oh yeah! More celebs, more channels, more opportunities, and more prizes!
