Clint Eastwood, Nicolas Cage and Harrison Ford, Who else?
These are the names that have been making the rounds in the past 24 hours after Avi Lerner, the producer of 'Expendables 2' spoke to Bang Showbiz about discussions he had with several actors for the sequel.
Guys, the 'Expendables 2' hasn't even hit theatres yet, but for the fun of it, this is my top list of choices for the next movie, and yes, it will include some of the actors in this latest outing. I haven't yet seen it, so if any of the characters get killed off, well, they are just going to have to re-birth for another adventure.
Ok here goes :
Top Actor choices for Expendables 3
- 1. Sylvester Stallone (always).
- 2. Arnold Schwarzenegger - Of course, who else?
- 3. Steven Seagal - His absence requires a 3rd movie to put him in a violent and unquestionably dark role.
- 4. Kurt Russell - He was an 80s action guy, but maybe he just doesn't feel up to it anymore.
- 5. Jackie Chan - Without a doubt an action star who could deliver cult status to the movie.
- 6. Tom Cruise - A sensationally absurd character would be superb, like Les Grossman in 'Tropic Thunder'.
- 7. John Malkovich- An unpredictable mind genius is needed.
- 8. Vin Diesel - xXx was the beginning, Expendables 3 needs to expand on this.
- 9. Will Smith - A blockbuster he has to conquer.
- 10. Dwayne Johnson - Some wrestling moves could be incorporated.
