Tom Cruise walked into oncoming traffic : Didn't look

Tom Cruise had to go into full reverse when he tried to cross a busy road in London without looking behind him.

The incident, captured on video shows Cruise making a quick escape as an oncoming bus beeps his horn furiously at the actor. Making a quick getaway the actor manages to avoid getting hit, although to be fair, he wasn't going to get run down by a bus that was only going about 10mph at the time.

As the actor is currently shooting 'Mission Impossible 5' in London, the star has been spotted on several occasions but it would seem he has to make some extra effort to look out in front of him.

Towards the end of the video the actor decides to ditch the whole idea of crossing the road in the first place. Was this staged?
