Tom Cruise talks about Mission Impossible 5 plans

The character Ethan Hunt will be taking us on another adventure as Tom Cruise talks about Mission Impossible 5.

Cruise has recently been named ‘Icon of our Lifetime by Total Film Magazine and in an interview with them he said,

“I started Mission: Impossible hoping I could make many of them. It’s a character that I can grow with. At that time it was the most expensive film in the history of Paramount Pictures, and the first film I was producing. It’s been pretty exciting. I’ll make a bunch of those. I’ll make as many as people want to see… because they’re very challenging, and so much fun to make.”

Work has already started on different images, concepts, looking at different locations and considering different sequences.  It will be written by Bruce Geller with Cruise working with the Production team once again.

It has been rumoured, by IMDB, that cast members will include Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Paul Patton and Ving Rhames.

With ‘Mission Impossible 4’ maintaining top spot at the box office on its release and surpassing $430 worldwide, it seems that bringing in a new challenge for character Ethan Hunt is more a case of ‘Mission Absolutely Possible’.

Will Cruise be taking a pay cut for this instalment too?
