Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro share the same pain

Painful reunion for Stallone and De Niro

Award season is in full swing, but for Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro, their pain is mutual.

So what on earth do these two actors have in common (apart from starring together in Cop Land back in 1997 and Grudge Match in 2013)?

Well, Stallone and De Niro have both been pre-nominated for 'Worst Actor' at this year's Razzie Awards. But it gets worse. They each have 3 separate nominations to their name, in the same category.

Sylvester Stallone's much un-liked performances in 'Grudge Match', 'Bullet to the Head' and 'Escape Plan' are all contending for the final nomination list. De Niro's performance in 'Grudge Match' is also being singled out along with his roles in 'The Big Wedding' and 'The Family'.

Some critics might no be so 'critical' but with 3 separate nominations each, it's going to be harder for them not to appear on the final ballot. Were they so consistently terrible?
