Selena Gomez and The Scene performing at People's Choice Awards

Selena Gomez will perform at the 2011 People s Choice Awards with her band The Scene on CBS this Wednesday, it has been announced.

The young starlet who has a solo singing career and mixes her vocal time with the band is scheduled to be one of the many performers at tomorrow's ceremony hosted by Queen Latifah.

The band's most recently released album 'A Year Without Rain' debuted on the Billboard top 200 in fourth place.

B.o.B, Kesha, Justin Bieber and Gomez are all competing this year for the Best Breakout Artist.

With Selena Gomez and Kid Rock performing at this year's People's Choice Awards, the lineup has proven to be an interesting 'choice' for 2011's ceremony.

A mixture of pop, classical and rock will add to the already long list of stars attending the ceremony including Zac Efron, Neil Patrick, Desperate Housewives actress Teri Hatcher and Conan O Brien.

The People's Choice Awards 2011 nominees include movie stars, singers, films, TV shows and music videos. Fans can vote for their favourite artists and get involved with year round polls and contests. The People's Choice Awards has become a mainstream event broadcast on CBS and is viewed by millions across the country.
