Reese Witherspoon is celebrating today after giving birth to her third child with Jim Toth.
The baby boy, named Tennessee James was born Thursday in great health to the joy of the entire family. Witherspoon's rep issued a statement regarding the birth today:
"Both mom and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled."
Witherspoon was photographed with her baby bump on many occasions during the filming of 'Devil's Knot', starring British actor Colin Firth. In the summer she announced that she would be taking time off before the delivery. The film, directed by Atom Egoyan tells the story of three children who are savagely murdered, leading to a trial of three teenagers who are accused of killing them as part of a satanic ritual.
The film is scheduled for a 2013 release but no official date has yet been announced.
