OWN Network Oprah's biggest opening January 1st 2011

NEW YORK, USA - Oprah's brand new OWN network channel is ready for its major launch in 2011 and is set to become her biggest accomplishment yet.

The billionaire TV icon is already famous for her life changing 'Oprah Winfrey show', but now she has her own network dedicated to self improvement that will run 24/7.

Oprah fans will get a taste of OWN this Saturday, and as we wait impatiently for the Big launch, bloggers, and the media are already swamping the internet with theories, expectations and insights.

Although the OWN Network wont feature Oprah round the clock, she is scheduled to do at least 70 hours of programming throughout the year. What will make the new channel a success is the experts she brings on and their defining ability to transform people's lives. Oprah has longed to make a difference in the world, and she eagerly awaits the big day.

Oprah Winfrey Show transforms TV

The OWN Network Starting Jan 1st 2011, will air on what is currently the Discovery Health Channel:

"OWN will be available in about 85 million homes from many television service providers, including Comcast, Cablevision, Time Warner, Cox, Charter, DirecTV, Dish Network, AT&T, U-Verse, and Verizon Fios."
