Oprah Winfrey Show Finale to broadcast today

Oprah Winfrey has changed the home TV experience for millions of viewers across the world, and today, her finale will follow several special shows which included appearances from the likes of Beyonce and Madonna.

The final show follows several special episodes that included a huge host of celebrities, some tearful moments, and 13,000 emotional fans who paid tribute to Oprah.

Having become the world’s most famous TV show host with a billion dollar media empire, Oprah has achieved phenomenal success on a global scale, with syndication in over 145 countries. Some say her endorsement of Obama’s 2008 Presidential bid was a major boost to his election campaign. It is no secret that Oprah commands enormous influence and has dedicated fans. After 25 years, Oprah Winfrey now starts a new chapter, with her OWN Network, which was launched in January.

The final episodes of the Oprah Winfrey show were recorded at the United Center in Chicago, and some of the celebrity guests included Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise and Stevie Wonder. Her final episode was recorded Tuesday and will be broadcast later today.
