NEW YORK, USA - Black Swan actress Natalie Portman is engaged and expecting her first child it has been revealed by people magazine.

After a rollercoaster of a year in 2010, the acclaimed actress is finally settling down with French choregrapher Benjamin Millepied. The two met on the set of Black Swan which has received several Golden Globe nominations and could be a big success at the 2011 Academy Awards.

The actress not only has her third Golden Globe nomination in the works, but she has several films to be released in cinemas in the coming months including No Strings attached .

Portman has been an iconic figure in the film industry for her break into the movies starting with her highly acclaimed performance in Luc Besson s Leon , and small role in Heat starring Robert De Niro and Al Pacino.
