Matt Damon, George Clooney fall behind

Matt Damon and George Clooney are regularly in the spotlight for supporting great causes, but they are super bad at raising money through social media.

It's understandable. These guys don't need the added attention, but when their star value can earn them up to $10,000 a tweet, should they not join Twitter just for that?

Think about it this way. If these two guys got their accounts set up, the whole process would take about 5 minutes each (Although George might need additional help as he is not totally, 100% brilliant with computers according to a ridiculous amount of sources).

Then after that, all they would have to do, is call up one blogger, one radio station and say, "Hey I'm on Twitter!". After that, the fans would do their magic, and everyone would sign up. Job done.

Second, once that is achieved all they would have to do is literally wait for an email from an advertiser asking them to endorse a product and the money raised from those tweets could go towards the very causes that they support.

Take this example: Ben Affleck and Matt Damon recently teamed up and insulted each other in this epic cool video you will see below.

You will notice that Ben Affleck has all his social media pages set up in the description link but Matt, well, there's nothing. It's a huge fail. Not even a fax number. Come on bro, it's 2014! Throw away the pigeon and put a digital bird at work.

Anyways, I just wanted to put this out there for these guys to know, that it's ok to be online, and it's great to earn some extra bucks for those worthy causes. One of them being Water.org. Thanks for your attention.

Matt Damon and George Clooney can be seen in 'The Monuments Men' which was released nationwide on 7th February.
