French Oscars live broadcast - Canada

If you are based in Canada you will be able to see live coverage of this year's 39th Ceremony of Les Césars.

Starting at 7pm Paris time, the French Oscars will highlight the best films and performers from the past year. Special guests include American film director Quentin Tarantino, and actress Scarlett Johansson.

Recently Tarantino was in the spotlight after his latest film "The Hateful Eight' was leaked online. It was subsequently made available and shared by Gawker news. Following the incident Tarantino launched a lawsuit against the news agency for facilitating the download of his script.

Johansson has also had her share of controversy recently, after Oxfam decided to part ways with the actress due to her involvement with Israeli company Sodastream.

Tonight's ceremony in Paris will be attended by none other than the créme de la créme of the French film Industry.

This broadcast is brought to you by Canal+ Canada. For the full list of nominees check out the official Césars website.
