A special auction supported by Kevin Spacey, Richard Armitage and Kristin Scott Thomas seeks to raise money for The Old Vic Theatre Trust.
Three Taittinger Champagne bottles signed in gold ink are being auctioned off along with their original wooden cases and a printed photo showing Armitage, Spacey and Scott Thomas signing them.
There are just over 8 days left for bidders to join in and get their hands on the exclusive items which will also mark the end of Kevin Spacey's 11 year tenure as the Artistic Director for the Old Vic.
Spacey's commitment to British theatre was celebrated earlier this year at a gala event attended by the likes of Eddie Izzard, Annie Lennox and Sting. Spacey also received recorded tributes from Bill Clinton, director Sam Mendes and Sir Elton John praising his work.
Matthew Warchus will succeed Kevin Spacey in the role of Artistic Director later this year. It was announced in 2013 that Kevin Spacey would seek to raise £20 million to help refurbish the theatre and ensure its financial future once he stepped down. The actor has been a key figurehead for over a decade and his contribution to British theatre will be greatly remembered.
