Kiefer Sutherland wrong about 24 movie getting produced

20th Century Fox's publicist denied Kiefer Sutherland's recent remarks about hit TV Series 24 being turned into a feature length film.

The hard-hitting adrenaline filled counter terrorist agent of the fictitious CTU agency wont be getting the movie treatment just yet. Fox have confirmed that there is a project in development but as of yet no film director is attached. 20th Century Fox would finance and distribute the 24 film but it would seem the project is far from getting a greenlight, and is in the early stages.

24 has won numerous awards over the years, and is one of the best thriller/drama TV series ever made. The success of the franchise and its gritty realism makes the stories all the more enthralling.

Kiefer Sutherland stars in a new web series called Confessions which will be aired online through Hulu in the Spring. The action TV star wont stop there, as he is also going to appear on Broadway in That Championship Season.
