Katy Perry announces 'Part of Me' documentary release

Katy Perry took to Twitter yesterday to announce the DVD / Blu-ray edition release dates of her feature length documentary.

'Katy Perry: Part Of Me', produced by AEG Live, Insurge Pictures and Pulse Films earned over $30 million at the box office worldwide, and follows the successful career of Perry from her concert tours to her life off the stage. It also reveals how a regular California girl with big ambitions took her dreams to the top, becoming one of the world's most famous musicians.

The documentary was nominated for a Teen Choice Award and won the 'Choice Summer Movie - Comedy/musical category earlier this year. Paramount is distributing the film, which garnered a respectable 77% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Katy Perry Fans can witness the film in 3D on several formats including DVD, VOD and Blu-ray. You can pre-order it before its September 18th release.
