An anti-Obama group called Grassfire Nation has accused several film directors and stars of supporting an ad that allegedly claims Romney caused the death of a women after she lost her health insurance.
In an email blast that was sent out Friday, several numbers were added by the group encouraging members to "Stop the Obama team 'death ad' funded by leftist elites."
Names on the list included Hollywood directors J.J. Abrams, Steven Spielberg, DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, Morgan Freeman and Bill Maher.
The celebrity numbers in the email connected people to talent representatives. Buzzfeed reported that several calls had already been made however "they all seem to be reading off a script."
It is not clear which ad the Grassfire Nation group was referring to as on their website it appeared to be jumbled:
Grassfire Nation alleges "possible criminal collusion in the ad".
