NEW YORK, USA - As Harry Potter reviews start to emerge with a generally positive overlook, the film itself has been leaked online before its international release.

A 36 minute video clip of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows became available on file sharing websites on Tuesday, forcing Warner Bros to act quickly to stem the flow of free wizardy through the web.

The leak comes just ahead of its UK release on Friday, set to be the biggest overseas box office haul after America. HArry potter fever has gripped the UK and fans are eager to check out the latest, and first part of the final installment

Warner Bros issued a statement shortly after the leak: "We are vigorously investigating this matter and will prosecute those involved to the full extent of the law," - BBC.co.uk

Harry Potter review

The film has received a mixed reception because of franchise 'fatigue', but the overall tone is a positive from critics as a stand alone film, and it has yet an even darker setting for the cast. However audiences will have to wait for part 2 in the summer of 2011 to see the final Harry Potter ending.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 is set to break box office records in North America in the fantasy genre, with film industry execs estimating takings could be over $100 million at the US box office in 3 days.
