Going viral : Complete strangers slapping each other in the face

the-slap-video
A new video posted on Youtube showing people slapping each other in the face has thrilled millions in just a few short days.

Filmed in a studio, the 4-minute slap-fest shows a group of people, men and women, greeting each other, then taking steps to hit each other casually across the face. In the mix of it all, audiences are entertained by a second volley of face slaps, and then some more, daring attempts with girls gently (and ferociously) slapping each other.

The Slap Video

The filmmakers behind the video also decide to take it one step further and include a few spankings.

While the subject of the video sounds crude and abusive, the video itself is a parody of human nature, and is done tastefully without any physical harm being done to those participating in it.

This is not the first time we've seen this concept being tried out. Another video, filmed in a studio shows strangers kissing each other for the first time. It became an internet hit and has been viewed over 80 million times.
