‘Horns’ is about Ig Perrish (Daniel Radcliffe) who is the main suspect in the rape and murder of his girlfriend Merrin (Juno Temple). Ig wakes up one morning with a hangover and finds that he has horns protruding from his head. With his new found skill Ig sets out to find out who truly murdered Merrin and takes revenge on the killer.
Threaded through this dark, fantasy story is a true exploration as to why good people are drawn in to bad experiences which they don’t deserve. It also brings to the surface what a man can go through when he loses his one sincere love.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Canda, Radcliffe said, “there really isn’t anything like Horns. It is very dark, but it is very very funny.” He added,” To play somebody who, in the midst of a time in his life of great turmoil anyway, undergoes this horrific transformation into a devil character — it was very, very exciting.”
‘Horns’ is based on the best-selling novel by Joe Hill, is directed by Alexandra Aja and the cast also includes Joe Anderson, James Remar and Keli Garner.
