BECTU is inviting members of the UK film industry to join a discussion with MPs in London covering the future of independent film.
Filmmakers working in the industry today can sign up for free and join the debate which will focus on the UK's indie film scene after the election.
With local MPs from different parties attending the event, people will be able to ask questions about their commitments to the arts and what direction the film industry will go in if they are elected.
Among confirmed attendees are MPs for the Green Party, the Labour Party and the Lib Dems.
London Film School director Jane Roscoe will chair the debate, which takes place this Wednesday 25th March at the Holiday Inn on Coram Street.
Leading up to the election, the UK film industry has been one of the triumphs of the coalition government, with impressive year-on-year growth and a recording breaking 2014.
Chancellor George Osborne recently announced that he would be extending the tax cuts for Film and TV productions and also pledged today a £1 million funding increase for the Battersea Arts Centre, which was recently damaged by a large fire.
