Filmmaker Kenneth Andrew Williams launches Indiegogo campaign for horror movie “Expulsion”

Atlanta based filmmaker, Kenneth Andrew Williams, is about to begin production on his latest horror movie called “Expulsion.” The movie provides a new take on the infamous realm of exorcism and demonic-based pictures with the film’s director committed to securing a female driven cast. The film industry has a major absence of films that revolve around layered and interesting female characters and “Expulsion” will focus on bringing about that much needed change.

The graphic horror picture centers around Sister Judith Armour, a cancer stricken nun who is struggling with her faith. She is also the sole survivor of an exorcism that went violently wrong. She recalls her horrific story (via flashbacks) to two police detectives fixated on finding out the truth. For many reasons, “Expulsion” is a totally different breed of horror film. Not only will the film intentionally lack music in order to intensify the thrilling moments organically, but “Expulsion” is also going to be shot in a way that looks hyper-realistic, adding to the fear factor. Of course, this film will have ample thrills, chills and gore, but the outstanding performances will be what propels it, which is atypical of the horror genre which can be seen in the film’s prologue

During a recent press conference, Kenneth Andrew Williams spoke about the project:

“I'm using crowdfunding for this project because it allows me the opportunity to personally connect with indie and horror fans while keeping creative control of the film. Film investors can string you along for years. And they usually want to make big changes in the script, resulting in a PG/PG-13 rating. I'm very emphatic about this being a hard R horror film filled with likeable and smart characters, I think the die-hard horror fan base will appreciate it.”

The Indiegogo Expulsion Campaign will have great perks awaiting all those who become involved providing a great opportunity for fans to be part of large production.

Kenneth Andrew Williams, Writer and Director of "Expulsion" is an accomplished and passionate writer & director known for his ability in tackling dark and intense subject matter. Coming from a commercial and music video background, Andrew made his debut in the feature scene with his first film, "Wrong Place Wrong Crime." He is excited to bring his expertise to what is now his fourth feature effort, “Expulsion” - a horror film he is confident will leave audiences on the edge of their seat until the very end.
