'Expendables 2' breaks $100 million box office mark

Sylvester Stallone action ensemble's epic comeback

The explosive 'Expendables 2' has reached the top of the box office for a 2nd week in a row, gaining a further $13.5 million and achieves an even bigger result.

Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li and Bruce Willis, not to mention other legends, 'The Expendables 2' is one of the biggest ensemble casts of action heroes ever.

At the international box office, estimates put the movie's box office gross at $32 million, pushing it's overall total to $101 million worldwide. The film is currently released in 15 territories and has managed to dethrone The Dark Knight Rises' worldwide box office gross this week.

In total, 'The Expendables 2' has made $52 million at the U.S box office since it's opening, just over half of it's overall takings. Will it manage to double it's money abroad once more?
