Eminem, Paul Rosenberg to exec produce Detroit Rubber web series

Eminem, Paul Rosenberg, Ben Silverman and Evan Bregman are producing a new web TV series in Detroit that will benfit from a $53,549 tax incentive.

According to the Daily Tribute, 'Detroit Rubber' will be filmed in Michigan and the series will be distributed exclusively through the Youtube Loud premium Channel. The Michigan Film Office made the announcement regarding the tax incentive for the series yesterday.

'Detroit Rubber' will highlight the journey of Rick Williams and Roland Colt, owners of the Burn Rubber Sneaker Shop as they attempt to balance family life with their growing business.

The tax incentive will effectively make the production cheaper to shoot, employing 15 local workers, and give the region added promotion in the media. Thanks to the backing of music industry heavyweights the production will give a much needed boost to local talent during one of the hardest recessions in decades.
