Fact Not Fiction Films has confirmed that their short film ‘Ellston Bay’, directed by cinematographer Mr. Nicholas Eriksson has completed 95% of principal photography in Devon.

Filmed from 17th to 24th September in Budleigh Salterton, Devon, filming went as planned with no weather or technical issues. Production Manager and Assistant Producer, Beth Moran, stated:

“Filming went to schedule and as planned. You could say it was flawless. The VistaVision camera supplied by Camera Revolution performed without a hitch and the rushes we have had back look stunning. We have some underwater scenes to film and then filming will be complete and the post production team will move us to the next step.”

Producer Tristan Loraine, stated:

“I am very grateful to Kodak, the residents and businesses of Budleigh Salterton, the UK film industry, our cast, investors and crew for making this film happen. I would also like to thank Camera Revolution, ProCam, Arri Media, Pro Centre, Optical Support, Mr. Nicholas Swain and his wife Rosita Swain, Mr. Simon and Eleanor Martin and finally Mr. John Rhys-Davies for their very generous help and support with the project.”

Director and Cinematographer Nicholas Eriksson, stated:

“Filming in Devon went really well, we shot everything we wanted and I am delighted that the world’s leading underwater cinematographer, Mr. Mike Valentine BSC, (Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (2016) | Skyfall (2012) | (Mr. Nobody (2009)) and his crew, have agreed to carry out the underwater cinematography on Ellston Bay. We could not be in better hands, the shots will be amazing.”
