'Edge of Tomorrow' reviews are ridiculously good

'Edge of Tomorrow' starring Tom Cruise has received near universal praise ahead of its release in the UK from top bloggers, and international reviewers.

Earlier in the month, The Wrap reported that 'Edge of Tomorrow' could be the first summer flop for Warner Bros as the hype for the film seemed to be very subdued.

Despite that forewarning, it looks like Tom Cruise has been given a boost as critics heap praise on the new thriller, directed by Doug Liman (Mr and Mrs Smith), and starring Emily Blunt, Bill Paxton and Brendan Gleeson.

Cruise and Emily Blunt appeared earlier today at the London premiere of the film, and later headed off to Paris to complete the 2nd tour of his action-packed promo for the film. He will finish today in New York on the red carpet at 10pm. This is not the first time Tom Cruise has 'run' to several world premieres in one day. Just before he kicked off the tour, Cruise changed his Twitter profile which reads:

"Actor. Producer. Running in movies since 1981."
