Charlie Sheen cast as President, but what about Mel Gibson?

Ultimate Combo : Mel Gibson and Charlie Sheen?

Charlie Sheen is about to become President after Robert Rodriguez revealed on Twitter that the actor was cast in his upcoming Machete sequel.

The movie casting for 'Machete Kills' also includes Mel Gibson, who has had his own run with controversy this past year. Having Sheen and Gibson cast side-by-side is definitely an eye opener, and with Rodriguez's style of 'motion picture storytelling', anything can happen.

'Machete Kills' also brings together some of the iconic cast of 'Sin City' and more top Hollywood talent including Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard, Jessica Alba, Zoe Saldana.

The question remains. What will Mel Gibson be doing in this movie? He's had some pretty bad press these past few years and it would take a thunderstorm of praise to resurface his name from the oblivion. On the flipside, Sheen has been reflecting on his meltdown of last year and would appear to have a 'clearer' head moving forward in 2012.

Are you ready for 'Machete Kills'?
