Missing since 2012, the body of former Fox executive Gavin Smith has been found.
Gavin Smith was a senior executive working at Fox for 18 years when he disappeared more than two years ago.
His body was uncovered in the Palmdale area according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reports THR.
The remains of the missing exec will undergo an autopsy to provide more information on the circumstances surrounding his death. He is believed to have had an affair with the wife of a convicted drug dealer and the case is being treated as a homicide.
Smith's family had offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to his whereabouts but as time moved on, officials declared that he was legally dead, and a death certificate was released.
