Batman v Superman trailer goes live

The first official trailer for “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has been released reaching nearly 2 million views in a matter of hours.

Featuring an array of special effects and introducing Wonder Woman, the new trailer for "Batman v Superman" has been met with resounding praise. Ben Affleck’s casting as Batman was tarnished and ridiculed prior to the start of production, and a subsequent image from the set led to the Sad Batman memes. The actor became an international parody of himself and it was not conceivable for the fans of the franchise to have Christian Bale replaced by him.

Despite that initial criticism, in this first trailer, the actor looks the part, and his co-star, Henry Cavill portrays an extremely intimidating Superman.

Has director Zack Snyder got the blend of darkness and adventure right?
