The season of Award shows is upon us with the Golden Globes taking place Sunday, and the Oscars on the horizon as the voting for this year s nominees are soon to be announced.
However, there are more to Awards season than just these two star studded events. Who can forget the 2011 People s Choice Awards we just witnessed that saw Conan O Brien gloat about his win over Oprah. These great on screen moments of sheer cheese add to the humour and fun of watching these Award shows.
Reality TV is also a big player in this, as audiences are more accustomed to seeing others compete against each other. We demand Award shows more and more.
