Actress Angelina Jolie is suing the Daily Mail for releasing a 'drug den video' of her that was recorded back in the 90s.

A 16-minute video was uploaded to the web this week showing Jolie in her apartment pacing up and down on the phone after taking "a delivery of drugs" from a dealer who claims to have shot the video.

According to the Times, Jolie is pursuing legal action against the paper for releasing the video, originally from the National Enquirer.

The video's release has caused widespread anger with industry insiders stating that its old news, and was re-hashed to exploit her fame for profit.

This reported action follows George Clooney's two open letters to the Daily Mail condemning their journalism following a news story they published about his fiancée's mother.
