Amazon ramps Kindle Fire HD promotion

Whether you want to watch movies, tweet, or read digital magazines, Amazon's Kindle Fire HD is $130 cheaper than it's rival, the iPad mini.

Despite this fact, iPad mini sales have gone through the roof, however, Kindle Fire HD sales have also surpassed records.

Starting at $199, the Kindle Fire HD does offer attractive features for a very affordable price. It's rival, the Samsung Galaxy Tab, also provides good capabilities although it's processing power is less than the Kindle Fire HD.

With that said this quarter new tablets are about to enter the market including Google's Nexus 7 and Nook HD from Barnes & Noble.
