Actor from Queen and Daniel Craig Bond skit dies

Daniel Craig and the Queen took the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony to a new level of 'cool' but one of the starring actors in the short clip has died.

After the glorious aerial photography introduces us to the city of London, the Bond sketch reveals Buckingham Palace, where we are taken on a mini tour of the estate. A black taxi cab pulls up, and out pops James Bond, accompanied by two energetic corgis.

One of the Queen's furry companions, Monty has passed away at the age of 13, leaving Willow and Holly, two corgi breeds. The dog featured in most of the interior shots with Daniel Craig and the Queen including a cute roll in a close up.

After millions viewed the film, a stunt double parachuted out of the helicopter into the Olympic Stadium.
