Expendables 2 has quite possibly the best action cast of all time, but it’s still missing some of the big cult names.

Starring Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Jean Claude Van Damme, Randy couture, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Liam Hemsworth and Chuck Norris you would have thought that was everyone, but no. We are missing some key players here. This could have been so much greater!

Where on earth is Steven Seagal in Expendables 2? Did his beef with Jean Claude Van Damme prevent him from stepping foot in the same room with him? Where’s Kurt Russell? He’s been part of that history too. Could we not have had a little cameo from Jackie Chan? What about a whacky scene with Mel Gibson and even a little one-liner from Keanu Reeves, mixed with Hugh Jackman’s grunt and Russell Crowe’s grin.

Well what’s done is done. Scripts are never perfect for everyone. Schedules are never easy to ‘schedule’, and you can’t stop Steven Seagal from patrolling the border. At the end of the day Expendables 2 has an exceptional cast of action man legends. Can it get better if this makes it to round 3?
